Lillian B. Darden (Secretary)
Lillian B. Darden (Secretary) is President of the Foundation of Wesley Woods and Vice President for External Affairs at Wesley Woods Center of Emory University. She was previously Wesley Wood’s Vice President of Development and President of the Board of Directors of Wesley Homes. She is Chairman of the North Georgia United Methodist Foundation Board and serves on the Executive Board of the North Georgia United Methodist Board of Pensions and the Board of Stewards of Marietta First United Methodist Church.
Ms. Darden is also a charter member of the Cobb Commission on Children and Youth, served on the Executive Board of the Cobb County Children's Center, helped raise funds for the construction of Open Gate, Cobb's emergency shelter for abused children, and is an ardent supporter of the Mountain Top Boys’ Home. She is a founding Board member and former president of Kennestone Regional Hospice, a member of the Congressional Club, and an organizer and board member of Westside Bank. Formerly an elementary school teacher, Ms. Darden has two children and is married to George (Buddy) Darden.
