Divisions
The department's three divisions include:
Division of Aging Services
The Division of Aging Services administers a statewide system of services for older Georgians.
Division of Child Support Services
Georgia's Child Support Services program helps children by enforcing parental obligation to pay financial support. This promotes family stability and reduces the public's responsibility for supporting financially abandoned children.
Division of Family and Children Services
The Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS) is responsible for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), food stamp benefits, and social services to assist low-income families or families in crisis.
